Dr. Glen Allgaier

Dr. Glen Allgaier has been my mentor for the past several years. Glen served on the Elmbrook School Board from 2007-2022 and he is credited with many of the district’s successes including its outstanding fiscal management. I’m thankful for his support of my school board campaign.

“I have had many conversations over the past four years with Elizabeth, during and subsequent to my service on the Elmbrook School Board. I have found that we share many of the same values; fiscal responsibility, overuse of technology, and relying upon data (rather than feelings) for the decision-making process.

Her business background puts her in an excellent position to evaluate the proposed $85 million referendum currently anticipated for this coming November.  Very importantly, I have found her to be a good listener and is open to learning from others, no matter their station in life.”

Dr. Matt Gibson

Dr. Matt Gibson was the Superintendent of the Elmbrook School District from 1995-2012. I am thankful for his support of my school board campaign.

“As former superintendent and continuing Elmbrook School District resident, it’s my privilege to enthusiastically support Burleigh parent Elizabeth Theis in the upcoming April 7 School Board election. Elizabeth has the professional qualifications to discern needed school board decisions coupled with her already demonstrated personal skills in leading school district initiatives as a volunteer.”

Jen Black, PhD

Jen Black is one of the few responsible for putting Elmbrook on the map for elementary and middle school robotics. She has changed the lives of so many students. I’m thankful for her support of my school board campaign.

“Elizabeth and I coach together in the Elmbrook Lego Leagues. She’s not afraid to get her hands dirty to understand a problem, collaborate on a solution, and drive action, whether that be with her team or the league as a whole.”

Kathleen Thomas

Kathleen Thomas is an engaged parent and committed volunteer in Elmbrook Schools. She was recently the President of the Brookfield East HS PTO and the Director of the Elmbrook Parent Leadership Council (EPLC). I’ve truly valued our collaboration over the past few years. I’m thankful for her support of my school board campaign.

“I've had the pleasure of volunteering in the school district with Elizabeth for several years. If you volunteer with Elizabeth, you learn quickly that she's a collaborative, organized leader who listens to others and communicates transparently. As a school board candidate, she's focused on common sense strategies to maintain Elmbrook's high academic standards. Because she is an active volunteer in the district and regularly attends school board meetings, she understands the challenges facing each school. The school board has a lot of big decisions in the next year, including the 20-year facility plan. With Elizabeth's civil engineering background and understanding of the district, she is someone who can contribute her expertise on day one.”

Heidi Kohler

Heidi Kohler is a dedicated volunteer and an outstanding Elmbrook parent. I am so grateful for Heidi’s guidance and support over the past few years. She is a great role model! I’m thankful for her endorsement of my school board campaign.

“I’ve known Elizabeth for over four years through the Elmbrook Parent Network, where she served as president and demonstrated insightful, organized, and collaborative leadership. As a Burleigh Elementary parent, she has a deep understanding of—and genuine commitment to—the Elmbrook School District.

Elizabeth asks important questions, does her homework, and isn’t afraid to engage with district leadership to ensure the best outcomes for students and families. She leads with integrity, keeps an open mind, and works well with others to make sound, well-informed decisions.

I am confident that Elizabeth will bring trustworthiness, diligence, and a strong commitment to our schools as a member of the Elmbrook School Board. I fully support her candidacy!”
